Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet all of the following criteria:
Must be a resident of San Bernardino or Riverside Counties, preferably with family ties to this region.
Must come from a family with low socioeconomic status or low income.
Must be the first generation in their family to attend graduate school.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be pursuing a Master’s or Doctorate in public health.
Must be specializing in epidemiology, nutrition, environmental sciences, or biostatistics.
Must have a minimum of two years’ work experience in the public health sector and be academically qualified to complete the course of study.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Preference given to recipients who express an interest in pursuing a public health career in California.
